Teens are growing and Independence

This is week we were talk about like time we were born to age around 27 how many things change over time and years like when we are 2 or 3 we started to walking and speaking, also try to understand and see around what is going on? That is important until age 10 but after that age people change because they have gone to middle school and start becoming older and older. Around age 16 people started to drive car and 18 through 21 smoking, alcohol, college and jobs. Most important thing is how well you work with this years if you not do anything during this years like school, college graduation we will have bad future. But for some people is different like they are ready at that age like age 16 they are not ready to drive a car and be ready for college because they are not old enough to think about this vital things. My thinking is around age 18 teens think they are old enough to understand what is going around them. But when they are in college, they understand and after college they most students are financially and emotionally still reliant on their families. For example, you might have an apartment in the city, but you have to share the rent and or mom and dad help pay the rent, or pay for a car etc. So some sociologists have said the age of real independence adulthood is going up to the late 20s. I think this things need to be change because this create problem on those young people and try to do bad things like going to buy alcohol before age 21, smoke , etc. Americans learn from a young age through their teens that they are expected to be irresponsible, submissive and asexual and then as adults they are expected to be the opposite.

Also, today in class we were talking about deviance like how they are effected to society in general and how we should think about that. This describe actions or behaviors that violate culture norms including formally-enacted rules as well as informal violations of social norms. Norms are the specific behavioral standards, ways in which people are supposed to act, paradigms for predictable behavior in society. They are not necessarily moral, or even grounded in morality; in fact, they are just as often pragmatic and, paradoxically, irrational. This is something that we should think is not right for our society like men wears dress or men were kiss. That is something different then what we see everyday. Like having big tattoos around body that is not normal it does effect on different people. Viewing deviance as a violation of social norms, sociologists have characterized it as "any thought, feeling or action that members of a social group judge to be a violation of their values or rules". Overall this is expected by society varies depending on where you are and when you are there.
