their own languages but it very difficult to understand them. I can speak four languages: Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit, Bhojpuri. When we are talking about different toilets in different countries but when you see the Indian toilet it is very different from America. It is kind of like Japan. But we don't use toilet paper instead of paper we use water. That is perfectly fine. When I was coming to USA, I use to used water in toilet it was very hard to use toilet paper for me. It feels very awkward. Also, from Indian culture to American culture is very different in different ways. Most important thing is language. It is very hard for me to speak English when I came here and hard to communicate with different people. Also, in American culture we always say sorry, thank you, please, etc. I did not used to say those words in India. These is more polite and respect to others.Today what we learn in class, I would say it was very difficult when you talk about different non material cultures and connect to different people. Non-material culture is symbolic culture, or gestures and language.Gestures are so different in different countries. Like in American OK sign means different in India. That is kind of inappropriate mean. Sometimes
it crates a big problems between people like when we go to restaurant we call waiter a different ways like in India we call him or shout him or make kind a noise. So, basically understanding of different culture is connected with their own languages. Finally, I would say it is not easy to follow some different culture or connect with different people.Thank You.
